Lectrix is an electrical company therefore, we only service electric Aga's. If you own a gas or oil fired Aga we can put you in touch with the right people for the job. Quite often we need to join forces when dismantling Aga's on site, and rebuilding them in a new kitchen space, or home. Electric Aga's were first introduced in the late 1980's. As opposed to the oil and gas Aga's, an electric nightstore Aga is cheaper to run. It charges up over night using cheap rate electric, and there is a choice of tarrifs depending on your electricity supplier.

A service is recommended at least once a year for 30amp nightstore models, to keep your Aga in tip top condition. 13amp models only require servicing every 5 years. Or request a service if things arent running smoothly.

A complete service will include a diagnostic check on the controller, elements, thermocouples and lubrication of the fans if required. If your still in posession of a mark 1 Aga, then this can be fully upgraded at a fraction of the normal cost if required.

A typical service will take about an hour. We carry a full range of spares, so most repairs, when needed, can be carried out at the time of visit.

No need to turn the aga off!

You can leave your aga on during the service, unless otherwise specified in advance by the engineer.
